POSITION PURPOSE

The Clinical Supervisor supports the overall clinical operations and ensures outstanding patient care within assigned location(s). This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in the leadership of clinical staff, training, and staffing. Assists with talent development and ensuring compliance with best practices and company policies. Foster a positive and efficient work environment to build highly efficient and successful practice. Ensures all USOSM’s standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Supports outstanding patient care, practice efficiency, and productivity through scheduling, staging processes, treatment, and planning. Assists in performance management for clinical employees, including providing feedback, coaching, fostering positive morale and conflict resolution. Promotes a positive working environment in alignment with the company’s POWER values, vision, and mission. Helps ensure appropriate clinical staffing coverage and assists in training new and existing clinical employees on processes, policies, and procedures. Monitors clinical supply levels, ensuring proper inventory and equipment availability to maintain an outstanding patient experience. Assists in ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and licensure requirements. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and supports compliance with I-9 verification, anti-harassment policies, and other regulatory requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Knowledge & Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of oral surgery/dental procedures, sterilization protocols, and infection control practices. Strong understanding of patient care protocols, including pre-operative and post-operative care. Ability to train and mentor clinical staff on surgical assisting techniques, emergency procedures, and equipment usage. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation standards. Strong verbal and written communication skills with medical professionals. Ability to lead with integrity and respect while fostering a positive team environment. Strong patient service skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Previous Experience/Education:

3+ years of previous experience in an oral surgery clinical setting required 2+ years of operational leadership experience, experience within the dental and or healthcare industry is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Extensive walking and standing Frequent use of hands to manipulate the keyboard, telephone, files and other equipment Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
