Purpose:
The Home Healthcare Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staffing of our home healthcare team. This position ensures efficient scheduling, accurate payroll processing, and prompt resolution of staff and client concerns. The Supervisor promotes safe, high-quality care, ensures client satisfaction, and maintains full compliance with safety protocols and applicable regulations.
Essential Duties:
Supervise Daily Operations:
Manage daily staffing for the home healthcare team, addressing call-outs, emergencies, and employee concerns in real-time to ensure seamless coverage and service delivery.
Oversee Scheduling and Payroll:
Plan, create, and maintain weekly staff schedules, updating them daily as needed. Oversee and verify accurate payroll processing for assigned team members.
Support and Supervise Care Team:
Provide direct supervision, assign daily duties, monitor care practices, and offer ongoing support to ensure safe, high-quality care for all clients.
Client and Field Oversight:
Conduct routine phone calls and site visits to gather essential information, monitor client satisfaction, and confirm service standards are met. Coordinate with nursing staff as needed to address client health and safety needs.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Uphold client rights, promote optimal quality of life standards, and report any incidents of abuse, neglect, or safety concerns per protocol. Regularly monitor staff performance, schedule adherence, safety compliance, and client interactions; provide feedback and coaching as needed.
Incident Management:
Conduct initial investigations for client and employee incidents, gathering necessary documentation and information for follow-up and resolution.
Performance Management and Training:
Complete performance evaluations, maintain staff competency records, and provide training on job-specific safety procedures and reporting protocols. Recognize and reward safe, high-quality performance.
Required Qualification:
High School Diploma/GED and a valid LPN or CNA state license. Four (4) years related experience. Must be 18 years of age. Must have a Valid CPR Certification. Must Pass a Drug Screening. Must have a Valid Driver’s License. Must have Valid Auto Insurance.
Hourly Rate:
$20 – $22.23/hour
