Patient Service Coordinator/Medical Receptionist Neurology One 92 North Dean Road, Orlando, FL 32825 About us Neurology One is a Neurology Medical Office dedicated to the health and well-being of patients and caregivers with complicated neurological disorders. We have fellowship trained neurologists focusing primarily in Movement Disorders, Neurodegenerative Disorders, Cognitive and Behavioral Disorders.

We are a sub-specialty neurology office that offers clinical care to neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, and more. Must have a welcoming demeanor and desire to help others. This position is Monday through Friday. This position may start out as part-time during training and turn into a full-time position. We take great pride in excellent customer service and patient satisfaction. Must be able to be a team player and work well with others. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets patients in a courteous and polite manner, and conducts all front office functions as requested.
- Answers telephone inquiries and triage calls. Must be able to display excellent telephone and switchboard etiquette.
- Maintain patient records private in accordance with the Office policy.
- Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations, including answering phone, checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with referrals and authorizations
- Assist with inventory and maintain office supplies.
- Complete patients’ phone calls including but not limited to proactive care coordination, appointment reminders, care management, and complete documentation with telephone encounters and in person.
- Assist with patient appointments including preparation, form completion and uploading, check-in, check out and follow-up actions.
EXPERIENCE
- CPR certified
- HIPPA certified
- Excellent computer skills
