Job Summary:

AllerVie Health is seeking a Practice Manager who a key operational leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and clinical functions of assigned allergy and asthma clinics. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care through effective staff management, operational oversight, and collaboration with clinical leadership. The Practice Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team of clinical and front office staff, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires regular on-site presence and travel between The Villages and Lady Lake clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Operations Management Oversee daily workflows, patient scheduling, clinic flow, and front/back-office coordination. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA) Maintain adequate medical and administrative supply levels across clinics. Support and implement process improvements to enhance patient throughput and satisfaction. Team Leadership & Staff Oversight Supervise clinical and administrative personnel, including medical assistants, nurses, and front desk staff. Oversee onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management for clinic staff. Foster a positive team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and professional development. Patient Care Support Provide backup support for clinical procedures such as allergy testing, spirometry, and immunotherapy as needed. Educate patients on clinical procedures and ensure a smooth experience through clear communication. Serve as an escalation point for patient concerns and service recovery. Compliance & Documentation Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Conduct regular audits for documentation accuracy, staff credentialing, and clinical compliance. Support ongoing staff education and in-service training to ensure up-to-date clinical knowledge. Operational Coordination Collaborate with regional operations, HR, billing, and facilities to address site-level needs. Report key operational issues or recommendations to the Regional Director of Operations. Participate in meetings to assess clinic performance and implement organizational initiatives.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred. Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice highly preferred. Minimum 2+ years of clinic or practice management experience required. Previous experience supervising direct reports in a clinical setting. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, lead change, and manage clinic-level operations. Strong understanding of general allergy and immunology workflows, testing, and medications. EMR experience required (eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar systems). CPR Certification required. Preferred Skills and Attributes Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Knowledge of clinical workflows including spirometry, Niox testing, and immunotherapy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional patient experience and operational excellence.
