As the Senior Director of Development, you ll play a key leadership role in cultivating philanthropic support for Orlando Health South Lake Hospital, driving strategic fundraising initiatives, and building meaningful relationships with donors and community partners. We are passionate about taking care of you and your family- today and for generations to come. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors and prospects.
Manage a donor portfolio and oversee fundraising campaigns aligned with strategic priorities.
Collaborate with the Vice President of Development and internal teams to drive engagement and giving.
Represent the Foundation at community and corporate events as a key ambassador.
Partner with physicians, administrators, board members, and volunteers to support major gift efforts.
Participate in planned giving strategies and donor recognition initiatives.
Guide and develop staff and volunteers involved in fundraising and donor engagement.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor s degree required.
Licensure/Certification:
Fundraising certificate preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector is required. Proven experience in managing and developing staff or service lines required.
Board, committee, association, or community involvement strongly preferred.
