Location:

Onsite – 6545 CORPORATE CENTRE BLVD, Suite 240 Orlando, FL 32822

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, guidance, support and direction for the front office and non-clinical staff
Function as first contact for customer service issues
May assist to coordinate work of other team members
Resolve complex issues rarely deferring to supervisor/manager
Serves as PSR mentor and trainer and provides expertise as SME to PSR staff
Leads may need to be willing to travel within their own market for coverage, training, support needs, assisting with training newly acquired clinic locations, etc
May perform regular PSR duties to include Greeting patients; Complete check-in and check-out tasks; Collecting co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles; Answering phones, scheduling appointments, re-direct calls as appropriate, and assist callers with questions or concerns within the PSR scope
In addition to regular PSR duties, at least 50% of the time must be dedicated to clinic metrics/projects/initiatives as deemed by clinic leadership. Examples include but are not limited to the following:
Onboards new PSR’s
Trains PSR’s
Safety Champion
Clinic Policy/SOP champion, develop awareness/knowledge of SDO process to assist CA in administrative preparations
Actively involved in assisting with the role out of any new training
Performs all other related duties as assigned You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
3+ years of experience working in a medical environment
6+ months of experience in a leadership role (including mentorship and training others)

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of Senior PSR, Lead or supervisory experience
ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
Prior experience with EMR computer applications
Proficient in PC software computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other departmental specific programs/applications
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Strong communication and customer service skills required in person and via phone The salary range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
