Our focus is on providing personalized care that integrates conventional medicine with evidence-based wellness and preventive approaches. Our patient-centric approach is designed to optimize health and well-being. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Medical Director to join our leadership team.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Medical Director will provide patient care and assist in managing clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, and helping to guide the growth of our medical wellness services. This role requires a strong clinical background, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple practice locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care through consultations, follow up visits, treatment reviews, therapy questions, snapshots, and other patient support and patient facing visits (in-person or virtually when appropriate). Assist the Medical Director in overseeing daily clinical operations across all locations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Provide leadership and mentorship to physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to maintain best practices and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Participate in developing, reviewing, and updating clinical guidelines and treatment protocols in line with the latest medical standards. Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. Collaborate with management and administrative teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure optimal resource allocation across locations. Lead and participate in patient care meetings, case reviews, and educational programs for medical staff. Monitor and assess the performance of clinical staff, providing feedback and development opportunities. Assist in recruitment, training, and retention of medical personnel. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in wellness, integrative medicine, and preventative care, and help to incorporate new services into the practice. Engage with patients, resolving any escalated concerns and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to medical practice operations.
Qualifications :
Medical degree (MD or DO) with active and unrestricted medical license. Board certification in a relevant specialty (functional medicine, medical wellness, or related specialty)
