Our focus is to provide top notch, individualized, affordable high quality treatment in a comfortable atmosphere. Valiant Recovery Florida is a new facility located in Punta Gorda Florida , located 1.5 hrs south of Tampa, and 40 minutes north of ft. Myers. We provide treatment for both men and women (separately), focusing on one on one sessions and SMALL circle groups rather than large classroom settings. Valiant Recovery started in British Columbia Canada in 2009. Job Summary The Clinical Director position is responsible for clients overall treatment while overseeing treatment team. He/She answers directly to C.E.O’s of Valiant Recovery. Responsibilities and Duties Complete detailed client assessments, and Develops individualized treatment plans. Provides private counseling for inpatient and outpatient clients in recovery center. Provides aftercare which includes, face to face, phone and / or video calls for each client once they have left program. Assists the client in developing aftercare plans, case management, family contracts, etc. Supervising a team of Counselors / Facilitators to assure the best treatment practices, completion of work and adherence to program policies. Shares pertinent information with team as obtained from patients or family throughout program. Provides liaison services between patient and family, significant other(s), referral source(s), interventionists, case workers, and other service providers. Updates treatment plans as needed. Provide some Family / Marriage counseling. Assists with new hire orientation for Counselors / Facilitators. The Clinical Director has the primary responsibility of maintaining communication with C.E.O, in house staff, interventionists, case workers, and other service providers as needed. years of experience working with addiction Experience working in a in-patient care facility Have a full understanding of all aspects of a residential inpatient program including a full working knowledge of 65D30 and Joint Commission standards. A a full knowledge of the whole insurance process form admission to UR If candidate is in recovery themselves, requires a minimum of 10 years of abstinence from drugs and alcohol to be eligible for this position. Excellent communication skills Have valid drivers license, with a clean driving record, and reliable vehicle. Have a FBI criminal check done Be able to pass drug and Alcohol tests at any time. Be able to work at a moments notice, in emergency situation Valiant Recovery Florida is a drug-free workplace conducting random drug testing, including alcohol and tobacco testing. A clean test is required prior to hire. We require all employees to be free from all addictive substances while in employ on and off shift. This includes the use of alcohol and nicotine. (Prescribed medication by a healthcare professional for a current diagnoses is permissible but needs to be notified and changes documented.)
