Responsibilities:
Hours of operation: 8:30am – 5pm The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing clinical education programs to ensure the highest standards of care across all Empath divisions. This role involves collaborating with clinical staff, leadership, and external partners to promote continuous learning and professional development. Clinical education programs are understood to include, but are not limited to, new colleague clinical orientation, competency validation, continuing education, preceptor program, and any other program deemed necessary to meet the mission, vision, and goals of Empath Health.
Qualifications:
Education/Regulatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Skills:
5 years of experience in professional development, training, and program development. 3 years of experience in hospice, home health, or homecare preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of adult teaching and learning principles. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Proficiency in educational technology and tools.
Professional Requirements:
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
