The Associate Patient CareCoordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and providesappointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answersincoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. Thisprimary role provides front office support functions.

Palm Harbor, FL Primary Responsibilities:

• Greets patients asthey arrive and manage appropriate standard wait times
• Completecheck-in and check-out tasks to include patient demographicverification, insurance verification, complete pre-authorizationsand/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documents
• Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issuesreceipts
• Answers phones and schedules appointments
• Answertelephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callerswith questions or concerns, and take messages as needed
• Managesmedical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
• Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processesrequests for medical records release and maintains appropriatelogs, etc.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationshipswith patients, employees, and the public

Required Qualifications:

• High SchoolDiploma/GED (or higher)
• 1 years of experience in customer service
• Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word,Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel 10% of the time tonearby offices

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 years of experiencewith medical office processes
• 1 years of related work experienceincluding data entry
• Prior experience with EMR computerapplications The salary range for this role is $16.

00 to $28.85 perhour based on full-time employment.
