TheAssociate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for thecompletion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively withall members of the care team to support the vision and mission ofthe organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere toLean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinicaland service goals.

EST Primary Responsibilities:
- Greets patients as they arrive andmanages wait time
- Complete check-in and check-out tasks toinclude insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/orprecertification of procedures, and copy required documents
- Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issuesreceipts
- Processes walk-in patients and visitors
- Answers phonesand schedules appointments
- Answer telephone calls, re-directcalls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns,and take messages as needed
- Manages medical records (maintains,files/scans, prepares for schedule)
- Ask patients for and/orassist patients with completing required paperwork (e.g., healthhistory, insurance documentation, etc.)
- Connect patients withoutside resources (e.g., community resources, social services) topromote self-care
- Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/orfiled, processes requests for medical records release and maintainsappropriate logs, etc.
- Establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with patients, employees, and the public

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher
- 1 years of customer service or healthcare related experience
- Ability to cover offices as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1years of experience of knowledge of medical terminology
- 1 yearsof experience working in a front office medical position performingduties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out,insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medicalrecords
- Experience working with an electronic health record (ECW
- Beginner level of computer proficiency (multi-tasking throughmultiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

00 to$28.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
