Polk County The role you’ll contribute: The HH Clinical Manager is responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of clinical protocols, activities, programs, policies and standards to assure compliance with regulatory, licensing and certification requirements for the home health program. Orientation of new staff, performance improvement, continuing education and ongoing training of all staff fall within the purview of this position. Functions as the Director of Nursing for the agency as defined in F.A.C. Chapter 59A-8. Functions as the alternate administrator in the absence of the Administrative Director. The value you’ll bring to the team: Coordinates and directs the care of a caseload of home patients requiring physical Responsible for effectively planning, coordinating, managing and directing all clinical activities and programs for home health in accordance with regulatory guidelines and professional standards. Provides direction in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. Maintains and interprets operational indicators to detect census/volume changes that can impact staffing needs, productivity, revenue and expenses; quality indicators, patient satisfaction, clinical and financial scorecards. Improves outcomes through planned and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure quality patient care is delivered in a cost effective manner. Oversees the delivery of care, ensuring patients meet established criteria to initiate and discontinue homecare services. Assures that adequate qualified staff are available to meet the needs of the agency. Oversees the scheduling process and monitors staff productivity. Interviews, hires, coaches, counsels, evaluates and terminates personnel appropriately. Participates in compliance and record audits; understands, troubleshoots and corrects processes for timely and accurate billing. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: Associate’s of Nursing Required Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support Required Driver License, Valid and in State Required Valid car insurance in the state of Florida 1 of supervisory or administrative experience in Medicare Certified Home care Required Knowledge of state and federal home care regulations. Demonstrates moderate computer skills Familiarity with electronic medical record for Home Health Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred 5 Broad clinical background with clinical experience in medical/surgical or critical care preferred 3 Home health experience and current knowledge of homecare requirements andOASIS assessments preferred Oasis and Home Care Coding Preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
