$20.64-$23.74 Position Summary The Supervisor is responsible for providing frontline supervision for a department that handles a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from physicians, staff, patients, families and the general public; also monitor, evaluate and correct team performance, establish workflows and metrics, and fills in for absent staff as necessary. Standard Work:

LRHPG Scheduling Supervisor In collaboration with the Manager, supervises personnel including but not limited to: professional and team development, coaching, counseling, performance appraisals, and onboarding of new team members. Reviews standardized practices and procedures within the assigned work department to ensure consistency throughout the clinics according to established protocols, scheduling templates, and practice patterns. Helps to ensure the Staff, Team Leads, and/or Trainer have the tools and resources needed to perform their job functions. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the scheduling processes and able to train others on all current operating systems pertinent to workflows. Works with the Manager, TL and/or Trainer on developing, auditing, analyzing, and reporting metrics for individual and team productivity/performance within Epic and OpenScape. Responsible for maintaining individual knowledge, skills, and performance in accordance with LRH and departmental policies and procedures. Assists in bi-weekly timekeeping and maintains work area coverage for employees in assigned areas of oversight. Provide leadership and guidance to staff as questions and issues arise, be willing to embrace change as it occurs, take immediate action as needed, and perform other related duties as assigned to achieve operational outcomes for the department.

Competencies & Skills Essential:

Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor and customer service skills, be detail oriented, conscientious, focused, and have excellent written and verbal communication and team building skills. Advanced knowledge and exposure to medical terminology and experience in healthcare admissions, scheduling, insurance verification, and/or referral requirements. Proficient with computers and typing and has the ability to operate a multi-line phone. Ability to identify problems, organize data, and present results.

Nonessential:

Proficient in the use of data analytical tools such as: OpenScape, Epic Dashboards, and/or Epic Slicer Dicer. Knowledge of the principles of leadership styles that foster collaboration. Ability to use Office computer systems, programs, and applications such as: MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Previous experience in a health care setting preferably in Scheduling and/or Referrals of at least 1 years. EMR utilization of 1 year or longer. Progressive Leadership experience.
