Part time (during licensing)
- then full time Monday to Friday, occasional weekends (twice a week to start) ? Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred We are a startup skilled home health agency preparing for licensure and proudly committed to providing inclusive care to individuals of all backgrounds, including people with disabilities ages 18-65.
We are looking for a dedicated Healthcare Administrator to partner with the owner in launching and running all non-clinical aspects of the agency. This is an incredible opportunity to help shape a compassionate, client-centered organization from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with ownership to set up systems for billing, payroll, HR, credentialing, and office operations
- Support the licensure process and ensure full regulatory compliance
- Develop internal workflows for
EMR/HRIS
systems and office management
- Handle recruiting, onboarding, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Create processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing
- Help expand operations post-licensure while maintaining a high standard of care for all clients, including those with disabilities You Might Be a
Great Fit If You:
- Have 5+ years of healthcare administration experience, especially in home health
- Are familiar with startup licensing, Medicare/Medicaid, and regulatory requirements
- Are passionate about inclusive, accessible care
- Thrive in fast-paced, build-it-from-scratch environments
- Are comfortable with
EMR/HRIS
systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Are organized, professional, and a strong communicator
- Speak Spanish (preferred)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or healthcare administration preferred
- Must pass a Level 2 background screening
- RN applicants must submit proof of active license
- Must be able to commute to Sarasota, FL
- Open to working twice a week during startup for a $500/month stipend, transitioning to full-time salaried role post-licensure
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment
