The Senior Manager of Clinical Operations, reporting to the Director of Operations, is a registered nurse working in collaboration with Practice Leaders, Providers and Clinical team members to improve the quality of patient care. This position oversees the Clinical Operations of the Senior Care practices while assisting in the evaluation process and educational opportunities for clinical team members. The Senior Manager of Clinical Operations is responsible for facilitating the development of clinical excellence through active participation in the hiring process, orientation, training/role transition, career development, continuing education/continued competence and academic partnerships.

- + Ensures adherence to the plan, rules and regulations of applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies.
Operationalizes and assures compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and Patient Safety regulations at the service line level + Promotes and performs continuous quality improvement monitoring and compiles the data for trend analysis and reporting so quality action plans can be developed and implemented + Creates, analyzes and oversees clinical quality training and the development of clinical measures for the organization + Maintains a comprehensive Infection Prevention Program with surveillance, documentation / trending, analysis of the data and monthly reports. Assists with problem identification and resolution. + Provides Infection prevention training and oversees that equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are used properly following infection prevention policies and standards of practice guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC). + Establishes Clinical policies, procedures, strategies and objectives pertaining to the care of our member population + Utilizes database management, decision support, and expert systems programs to access information and analyze data from disparate sources for use in planning for patient care processes and systems + Coordinates practice site visits in collaboration with EMR and Clinical trainers to optimize workflow
