Dental Financial/New Patient Coordinator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Winter Springs, FL 32708 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Financial/New Patient Coordinator to join our private health-centered, relation-based , fee for service, dental team. Our practice has been in existence for over 33 years. The Financial/New Patient Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental and overall health information management and medical terminology. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess experience in a dental setting. Responsibilities Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in processes. Schedule appointments to meet daily goals and manage patient flow efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records Initial communication with patient welcoming them to our practice, gather health information, reason for visit, listen for any concerns, gather any dental insurance information, send out all new patients forms to be filled out prior to scheduled appointment, schedule new patient examination with doctors and schedule new patient examination and later during review of findings and co-discovery of patients needs, put in the treatment plan and go over fees. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Co-Manage front desk operations including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with health information management standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Assist in the training of new staff members on office procedures and software systems. Balance the daysheet each day and close end of day with reports, give doctor totals Experience Previous front desk experience in a dental practice is required. Familiarity with health information management practices and medical/dental terminology is essential. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is desirable. Eaglesoft software knowledge is desired Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team alike. Active listening skills are required.
