Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Assistant – Patient Care Coordinator to support both the clinical and operational functions of our growing DPC practice. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is passionate about meaningful patient care and thrives in a systems-oriented, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Perform patient intake, including vitals, medical history, and health screenings Administer vaccinations, draw labs, perform EKGs, and assist with in-office procedures Document clinical encounters with precision using our electronic health record Provide patient education and follow-through with care plans under clinician guidance Support patient-centered, root-cause clinical workflows with empathy and professionalism Patient Coordination & Administrative Support Act as a key point of contact for patient questions, messages, and care coordination Track referrals, lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic workflows Maintain timely communication between patients, providers, and external partners Assist with scheduling optimization and ensuring clinical flow remains smooth and efficient Inventory & Vendor Management Maintain accurate inventory of clinical supplies, supplements, and operational materials Coordinate ordering and vendor communication to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery Track usage patterns to avoid shortages or overstock, ensuring alignment with budget goals Evaluate vendor service and pricing periodically in support of practice values and efficiency Qualifications Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required Minimum of 2 years experience in a primary care, integrative, or DPC setting preferred Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and clinical inventory systems Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail Comfortable navigating both patient-facing tasks and back-end operations Technologically proficient, with EHR and digital scheduling tools Genuine interest in functional medicine and root cause approaches to patient care Passion for whole-person health, patient empowerment, and care model innovation Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Continuing education allowance Supportive team culture and professional development opportunities
