Job Description

Psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LMHCs are encouraged to consider an exciting new career opportunity with Liberty Healthcare Corporation. Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare seeks qualified candidates for a potential new Director position which will be responsible for establishing and leading a new forensic mental health serving people who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness. The program will endeavor to expeditiously deliver court-mandated forensic assessments, psychiatric stabilization, and restoration of competency to individuals detained in a county jail located in Quincy, Florida (nearby Tallahassee). This program will be based on Liberty Healthcare’s award-winning model and rooted in best practices person-centered care and forensic mental health. You should be well-versed in best practices in the forensic mental health field and be knowledgeable of effective treatment approaches for people who are incompetent to stand trial. A professional license in Florida as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
