Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare seeks qualified candidates for a potential new Director position which will be responsible for establishing and leading a new forensic mental health serving people who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness. The program will endeavor to expeditiously deliver court-mandated forensic assessments, psychiatric stabilization, and restoration of competency to individuals detained in a county jail located in Quincy, Florida (nearby Tallahassee). This program will be based on Liberty Healthcare’s award-winning model and rooted in best practices person-centered care and forensic mental health. You should be well-versed in best practices in the forensic mental health field and be knowledgeable of effective treatment approaches for people who are incompetent to stand trial. A professional license in Florida as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
