Let’s Communicate, Inc. is a pediatric occupational, physical and speech therapy clinic located in Winder between Atlanta and Athens Georgia. We are seeking qualified individuals who have experience in the medical front office setting working closely with patients, therapists, physicians offices, and medical insurance companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Submit prior authorization requests to GA Medicaid and Care Management Organizations (CMO) using the GAMMIS website Submit prior authorization requests to all other commercial insurance companies as required Update and enter authorizations into our Practice Management Software Fax Evaluations and Plans of Care and other documents to Physicians for approval signatures Request referrals and Dr Orders from Physicians Offices when required Update patient medical records in the Practice Management Software Scheduling, canceling and modifying patient appointments as needed by patient requests and coordinating appointments with all disciplines and authorization requirements Answer phone calls and document new referrals on patient intake forms Enter new referrals into the Practice Management Software Check Insurance Eligibility, Deductibles, and Co-Pay requirements for new and existing patients Observe and take action when the Practice Management Software alerts an expiring authorization or reevaluation is necessary Other duties as assigned within the clinic

Minimum Qualifications:

Medical Office Experience (1 Year Preferred) Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels Prefer experience with the Pediatric population Bilingual English/Spanish is required
