Community President Job Summary:

The Social at Savannah is seeking a highly experienced Certified Medication Aide (CMA) with a strong background in senior living to serve as our Assisted Living Coordinator . This role oversees the daily operations of our Assisted Living neighborhood, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, strong team performance, and positive family and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the Assisted Living team, including care staff, medication aides, and support personnel. Ensure individualized service plans are developed, implemented, and regularly updated based on residents’ evolving needs. Promote a culture of compassion, professionalism, and excellence in all aspects of resident care. Serve as a primary liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to maintain clear and consistent communication. Coordinate with third-party providers (e.g., home health, therapy, hospice) to support residents’ well-being. Monitor and enforce compliance with state regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and performance management for Assisted Living team members. Participate in assessments, move-in decisions, and ongoing care reviews. Support care conferences and family meetings to ensure transparency and alignment. Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives for continuous growth.

Qualifications:

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) with extensive experience in a senior living environment required. Minimum 3 years of experience in assisted living, memory care, or a related healthcare setting. Proven leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of state regulations and best practices in person-centered care. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with residents, families, and staff. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
