  • Clinical Supervisors are responsible for: Supervises Counselors and other clinical support staff delivering assessment, substance use disorder education and treatment, and case management to clients.
Oversees client program:

evaluates counselors’ work performance, audits client records to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and achievement of service delivery objectives. Serves as a professional resource to other counselors in resolving complex case problems and provides clinical supervision and guidance. Interprets and enforces the organization and facility policies and procedures, contributes to development of treatment protocols and processes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in psychology, social work, mental health or substance abuse counseling, or closely related field Six months of supervisor experience, preferrably clinical supervisor 3.5 years of experience as a Certified Counselor (CACII or CADC II) OR LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Addictionologist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist Must be able to obtain certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) within eighteen (18) months of the first date Clinical Supervisor performs services

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
