Job Description

Dynamic and growth-oriented healthcare organization in the Metro Atlanta area seeks a highly motivated and experienced Director of Clinic Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across various clinical regions and departments within their outpatient network. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and team development within a collaborative and progressive environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and global oversight for designated clinical service areas and regional clinics/departments. Lead, mentor, and manage clinical and administrative teams in a positive and proactive manner. Drive improvements in clinical outcomes and operational processes, ensuring adherence to performance metrics and compliance directives. Develop and implement effective on-the-job training programs for team members. Facilitate standardization and consistency in clinical practice policies and procedures. Serve as a key liaison between operations and other departments within the organization. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of organizational strategies. Ensure effective communication and information flow among physicians, clinic managers, staff, and leadership. Oversee clinic compliance with all relevant regulations and programs. Manage the recruitment and hiring process for assigned regions and departments in collaboration with Clinic Managers and HR. Address personnel conflicts and HR-related issues within the Clinical Services Department. Supervise and develop the clinical and administrative management team, establishing clear goals and objectives. Collaborate closely with physician staff to optimize staffing patterns, clinic flow, and resolve operational challenges. Monitor clinic and department performance, providing guidance and resources as needed. Act as a resource for the clinical implementation of strategic plans. Ensure appropriate reporting and proactive problem identification. Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and job descriptions for the Clinical Operations Division. Assist in the development and implementation of short- and long-range strategic plans for outpatient practice. Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and development in healthcare management. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is required. Five plus years of progressive healthcare management and operational experience is essential. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Proven ability to manage and develop teams effectively. A thorough understanding of healthcare legalities and practice policies. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) license is a plus. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is a plus. Ten plus years of healthcare management and operational experience is highly preferred.
