The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing administrative tasks and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires a strong background in medical administrative support, preferably within a dental or medical office setting, along with familiarity with medical terminology. Duties Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process. Schedule appointments and manage the patient calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, insurance coverage, and billing inquiries. Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care as needed. Assist in managing office inventory and supplies to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.
