Role:

Tele Specialists is looking for a Credentialing Manager to develop, improve and monitor the credentialing process for Tele Specialists providers. Partnering closely with our medical staff team, physicians and other members of the licensing and credentialing team, the Credentialing Manager plays a key role in our ability to scale our patient services. This position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive orientation, and process driven mindset to support the success of our operations. Essential Responsibilities of this

Role:

Overseeing day-to-day operations for the credentialing team. Monitor credentialing statuses for all clinical providers, tracking status of initial credentialing as well as reappointments to ensure timely processing. Develops, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Tracks the credentialing process to promote compliance, process enhancement, and efficiency. Identify areas for process improvement. Responsible for ensuring department meets credentialing targets. Hire, develop and motivate staff to meet performance targets and ensure success of the team. Provides leadership team with reports regarding department performance and status of providers’ files. Coach and mentor employees to success. What You Need to Succeed in the Role Comfortable cultivating relationships with partner medical staff departments, physicians, leadership, related departments within the organization and with our hospital partners Ability to lead, manage and motivate teams Excellent project management and communication skills, ability to work successfully across diverse teams Be highly self-motivated, directed, and proactive Ability to be flexible, pivoting quickly to address priorities and projects, comfort in a fast-paced, changing environment Strong computer skills, being open and able to learn and use new technologies Experience or familiarity with credentialing accreditation by Joint Commission or National Committee for Quality Assurance Bachelor’s degree is preferred 5-10 years of credentialing experience and/or healthcare leadership Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) is preferred.
