This position also involves inventory administration of medical supplies, medications and general medical clinic supplies. This position works with an IT vendor to provide hardware, software and network services. This position will oversee maintenance activities, manage facility operations, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills with a background in maintenance. Ultimately this role will help our employees, customers, and physicians get the most out of our facilities and equipment. Duties Oversee daily facility operations to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate repair activities for all facility equipment. Fixing minor issues with equipment linked to the building. Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments of building equipment Ensure that buildings are safe and that all equipment and devices operate properly. Maintains and tracks employee safety training. Coordinates the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Partnering with hired or city inspectors to ensure the buildings are meeting the required city building codes. Partnering with hired building subcontractors like plumbers, electricians, HVAC and construction, to determine the need for repairs, maintenance, or renovations. Conduct cost analysis when purchasing new equipment or services. Make recommendations. Responsible for maintaining proper security for the buildings; inclusive of hardware and software. Plan and coordinate installations like; telecommunications, heat, electricity, etc. Reviews utilities consumptions, maintenance agreements and strives to minimize costs. Controls activities like parking spaces, waste disposal, carpet cleaning, inside building cleaning, etc. Responsible for managing outside vendors for maintaining grounds like grass, parking lot, etc. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and projects. Skills Knowledge of maintenance techniques and best practices. Proven leadership skills with experience supervising subcontractors on special projects. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
