Overview
The Clinical Placement Coordinator manages all support services within the Clinical Education Department. With minimal direct supervision, the Clinical Placement Coordinator serves as the primary liaison with affiliated schools and students to arrange and facilitate clinical placements and credentialing. The Clinical Placement Coordinatoranizes daily departmental operations and provides information and direct services to clinical educators, leaders, staff, and physicians. The Clinical Placement Coordinator may teach or facilitate in assigned educational activities or events.
A. Education
1. High School graduate, business school training or some college rmended
B. Experience
1. Four years of secretarial experience
2. Two years of experience in the medical or related field
3. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power-Point required
C. Interpersonal requirements
1. Possesses strong verbal and written skills, has amitment to customer service.
2. Communicates effectively with all applicable customers and age groups.
3. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, vendors, and the public. Interacts with adults (services to patients not directly provided)
