Director of Clinical Services 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 440 Tribble Gap Road, Cumming, GA 30040 Lotus Village is looking for a Director of Clinical Services(DON)/Wellness Director to join its team. The position has a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of resident care and clinical operations within our assisted living community. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans for residents. The Director manages and mentors’ care staff, oversees medication management, and leads quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Director. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, care experience, and proficiency in both communication and technology.
Duties:
Conduct thorough pre-move-in assessments, admissions, and quarterly evaluations for residents. Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs. Assess and address residents’ physical, psychological, and environmental needs through collaboration with healthcare providers, review of resident records, daily logs, and on-site evaluations. Supervise and lead all care staff to ensure high-quality and continuous care. Oversee the community’s medication management, including administration, coordination with third-party pharmacies, and storage. Drive community-wide quality improvement initiatives in partnership with the Executive Director. Ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention for both residents and employees through ongoing improvements in care, service, and workplace culture. Maintain and uphold the highest standards of resident care in alignment with local, state and federal regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING
(DON): A minimum of two years of experience in long term care nursing management Currently licensed as LPN or RN in state of GA. Candidates must have experience In the AL and MC space.
