The Asset Manager plays a key role in aligning company performance objectives across all properties, ensuring they are clearly defined, effectively communicated, and consistently tracked. This position requires a strong ownership mindset while working cross-functionally to develop and implement strategies focused on revenue optimization, cost control, guest satisfaction, capital planning, and long-term asset preservation. Success in this role demands maturity, strong financial and analytical skills, excellent communication and listening abilities, and a deep understanding of hotel operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics using management input, benchmarking, and modeling tools. Identify and implement value enhancement strategies across operations, including revenue management, cost controls, labor management, and marketing initiatives. Stay current on hospitality market trends, with a focus on portfolio-specific supply and demand dynamics, as well as operational innovations. Track property-level trends in human capital, revenue management, marketing, and guest satisfaction; recommend and implement performance improvements. Collaborate with ownership to review performance, generate forecasts, and guide strategic planning. Apply data from company benchmarking systems to improve operating results and best practices Establish profit expectations and support on-site teams to optimize operating fundamentals and maximize asset value. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual loan reporting. Maintain and improve asset management reporting systems and models. Support acquisition and financing efforts through underwriting, market analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence coordination. Conduct hotel performance reviews independently or collaboratively, analyzing financial results, cash flow potential, and key risks. Support the creation of presentations and materials for stakeholders. Perform additional related duties as assigned to support asset management goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required; preferred majors include Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Hotel Management 3-5+years of commercial real estate investment experience with a focus in hospitality 1-3 years of direct hotel or hospitality industry experience preferred Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting systems Prior experience in valuation, consulting, brokerage, or acquisitions strongly preferred Skilled in interpreting hotel financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
