We have four providers, three office locations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid claims, and ensuring the efficient reimbursement of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies via electronic and paper submission. Review and verify patient billing data and ensure accuracy of insurance information. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies. Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts. Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and outstanding balances. Work closely with insurance companies and healthcare providers to clarify information. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Generate reports related to billing activities and outstanding claims. Stay updated on insurance guidelines and coding regulations.

Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience in managing MEDICAL billing and coding.
