The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within a spa environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient service, organized, and be able to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant, your role will include, but is not limited to, the following:

Patient Support:

Assist injectors and medical aestheticians with patient intake, including taking patients back to treatment rooms, preparing them for procedures, and providing appropriate pre-treatment care (e.g., numbing).

Room Flipping:

Ensure rooms are properly prepped and cleaned between patients to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Assisting Providers:

Support medical providers during treatments, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are ready and available.

Medical Care Text Line:

Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via a medical care text line, providing updates and addressing patient concerns related to treatment processes and results.

Communication:

Keep management and the team updated on patient progress, results, and any concerns that may arise during treatment.

General Office Support:

Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining patient records, scheduling, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience in a medspa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or primary care setting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills , both in-person and via text or phone, with a professional and empathetic approach to patient care. Knowledge of medical aesthetics procedures and terminology is a plus but not required. Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment. Ability to maintain a high standard of patient care and confidentiality at all times. Skills Strong patient service orientation with the ability to empathize with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of industry practices and outpatient care protocols. Familiarity with dermatology practices is a plus. Solid understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the team. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. Why Join Us?
