Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in creating a seamless and supportive experience for our patients by gathering key demographic and treatment information. The ideal candidate will have exceptional phone etiquette, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for patient care. This position also performs vital clerical and customer service tasks to support the smooth operation of our organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Key Responsibilities:

Accurately transcribe and input patient information, demographics, and prior treatment history into our treatment portal Escalate patient issues or concerns to management as appropriate Assist with incoming phone calls and route them to the correct parties Monitor and manage communication channels including email, fax, and other platforms Perform other clerical duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, professional demeanor with patients and colleagues Ability to generate and monitor daily patient status reports Typing proficiency of at least 50 WPM Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Effective multitasking and time management Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, or similar software Understanding of clerical systems such as recordkeeping and filing

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in hospitality or customer service strongly preferred Prior medical intake experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
