Position Summary:
CarlinVision is a growing comprehensive Ophthalmology practice with medical retina, seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities, but not limited to staffing, patient relations, patient flow, inventory management, and equipment maintenance and technician education. The clinical supervisor will report to the Practice Administrator and work closely with managers and department heads.
Responsibilities:
Oversee location specific clean operations including supply chain management/inventory, equipment maintenance, vendor relations, clinic staffing, patient relations, clinic flow and scheduling templates. Adherence to all company policies and procedures Direct supervision of technicians including time and attendance, and productivity. Respond to all patient relations inquiries and to attain complaint resolutions. Participate in process improvement projects as assigned to improve efficiency and effectiveness of clinic and patient care process. Assist in annual performance review process for all technicians. Work cooperatively with the Practice Administrator of hiring technician(s) to maintain appropriate staffing. Maintain communication with the clinical trainer regarding technician(s) in a training process and professional growth training. At least 70% clinical work per week.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Must have management experience 3 years clinical experience Knowledgeable in ophthalmic skills, concepts, and have basic overview of ophthalmic diseases Ability to work independently with little oversight or manager presence Competent computer skills (word, excel, EHR experience)
