Health and Nutrition Director Premium Food Service Lawrenceville, GA 30045 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Nutrition Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting nutrition and wellness while overseeing dietary planning and meal preparation. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with nutritional guidelines and health regulations. Responsibilities Develop and implement nutrition plans tailored to meet the dietary needs of inmates Supervise and coordinate daily meal preparation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Provide guidance and training to food service staff on proper nutrition, portion control, and dietary modifications. Monitor food quality and compliance with dietary standards, ensuring alignment with institutional and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design specialized meal plans for individuals with dietary restrictions or medical conditions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field. Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Experience in clinical nutrition, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and nutritional guidelines. Excellent communication and leadership skills to work effectively with staff and clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
