The Opportunity – We are seeking a self-motivated and dedicated leader to serve as our organization’s Vice President of Business Development. The Vice President of Business Development must possess extensive substance use disorder treatment market knowledge, presentation skills, professionalism and excellent team building skills. The Vice President of Business Development will be a master at telling the Good Landing origin story and sharing the differentiators that make Good Landing the obvious choice for substance use disorder treatment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the primary generator of client leads for our sub acute/residential facility in Gainesville while overseeing the Business Development Representatives assigned to our outpatient and detox and residential facilities. Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments. Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments. Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Tracks all sales and development activity through approved CRM tools and produces executive level and tactical level reports that provide visibility and transparency into the activities of the Clinical Outreach Department. Works with Sales and Marketing to development marketing plans and strategies. Will speak at conferences on behalf of the company to share company story, history and vision. Manages client related communication and CRM remotely. Communication may frequently fall outside of regular business hours (including weekends). Occasional overnight travel will be required. Communicates insurance coverage information to appropriate interdisciplinary team members for continuity of care. Conducts tours of the facility for families and other visitors. If in recovery, must have at least two (2) years of sobriety. Will be responsible for providing various ecclesiastical duties in support of the company’s and owner’s core beliefs to include but not limited to: providing prayer to clients, leading Christian Bible studies/devotionals and providing practical biblical guidance. Performs other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of four (4) years experience in a role driving sales, marketing and client acquisition Experience in Healthcare / Behavioral Health is highly preferred. Comfortable working in a time-sensitive, confidential environment where there are continually changing priorities. Write and compose emails and letters that are grammatically correct Must be very computer/software/internet savvy (MicroSoft Office) Comfortable in an environment where over-communication is needed Exceptional communication and follow through skills Ability to meet deadlines and work professionally Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA laws regarding healthcare treatment If in recovery, must have at least two (2) years clean time.
