Overview Signet Health, a national acute rehabilitation andbehavioral health company is currently recruiting is for anexperienced and engaged Nurse Manager for the inpatientrehabilitation program at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta,GA. We are looking for a decisive leader with strong interpersonalskills, clinical expertise in inpatient rehab nursing withsupervision experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruit,interview, hire, orient and supervise all nursing staff. Theclinical confidence to role model and educate nursing staff inrehabilitation nursing concepts and practice. Managementresponsibility for the rehab unit nursing staff 24/7. Manage therehab unit staff schedule. Participate in the hospital’s budgetingprocess. Develop and implement monthly staff education calendar.
Integrates the rehab nursing team with the other clinicaldisciplines. Ensures compliance to state, federal and hospitalaccreditation standards. Actively supports and engages in allinterdisciplinary team activities. Requirements/QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of nurse management experience in inpatientrehabilitation. Current nursing license in GA, BSN required, MSNpreferred. Rehab Nursing certification preferred but not required.
Clinical leadership experience in inpatient rehabilitationrequired. An advocate, mentor who treats people with respect anduses supportive encouragement to lead the rehab nursing team.
Knowledge of state, federal, and hospital accreditation standards.’,’direct
