Medical Billing Manager Evolve Physical Therapy and Sports Baton Rouge, LA 70808 • Hybrid work Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate coding, and maintaining compliance with medical billing regulations. This role is crucial in facilitating smooth financial operations within our organization while ensuring that patients and insurance companies are billed correctly for services rendered. Responsibilities Accurately code medical diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG coding systems. Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding claims. Review patient records to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. Manage medical collections by contacting patients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, and compliance regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments. Keep detailed records of all billing activities and communications with patients and insurance companies. Requirements Proficiency in medical coding, particularly with
ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG
