About Freedom Recovery, LLC:
Freedom Recovery, LLC is expanding its ASAM Level 3.1 Clinically Managed Low-Intensity Residential Substance Abuse Treatment services to a new location. Building on the success of our West Monroe facility, this expansion will allow us to serve a broader community and increase access to care by offering additional beds for individuals in need of residential treatment. Our mission is rooted in providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals on their recovery journey.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed, experienced, and visionary Clinical Director to lead the clinical operations at our new location. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of care we’ve established, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a collaborative, client-centered environment. The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical programming, supervise staff, and ensure that services align with ASAM Criteria and Medicaid standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with ASAM Level 3.1 standards Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including counselors, case managers, and support personnel Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, Medicaid documentation standards, and accreditation guidelines Coordinate care with medical, psychiatric, and community providers to ensure integrated treatment Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation and implement quality assurance initiatives Lead staff training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development Participate in strategic planning, program evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including referral sources, regulatory agencies, and community partners Uphold ethical standards and promote a trauma-informed, culturally competent approach to care
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field (required) Active Louisiana licensure as an LAC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent (required) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a behavioral health setting Strong knowledge of ASAM Criteria, residential treatment models, and Medicaid-funded programming Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Louisiana Department of Health regulations and OIG compliance standards Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French Creole) is a plus
