Job Description

A day in the life of this role: Reporting to the Director of BehavioralHealth, the Manager of Recovery Services will primarily be responsiblefor ensuring the highest quality provision of care for all OCHS patientsseeking recovery services, including the establishment andimplementation of clinical standards of care, policies and proceduresconsistent with sound mental health and recovery practices.

Summary ofduties:

Establish and implement clinical standards of care as well aspolicies and procedures consistent with organizational goals and soundsubstance use disorder (SUD) treatment practices. Oversee developmentand updating of clinician manual; develop protocols and ensurecompliance of recovery services staff with these policies andprocedures. Co-facilitation of the OCHS day treatment program at the AIMWellness Center Establish and maintain an on-going program to orient,evaluate, and appraise new recovery services staff and clinicians.

Comply with and ensure all recovery services clinicians comply with thepayor requirements for reimbursement. Establish and maintain clinicaleducation program by providing clinical discussion at meetings. Developand oversee quality assurance programs in all recovery service areas ofevery OCHS Health Center; submit reports and recommendations toexecutive leadership. Maintain familiarity with mental health/moral andmental health/legal issues related to the practice of mental health andrecovery services and serve as resource to staff in these areas. Ensurethat any recovery services research conducted at OCHS meets the higheststandards of ethics and patient care Collaborate with the Chief MedicalOfficer and Medical Directors on recovery services integration withinprimary care. Assume responsibility in collaboration with Director ofBehavioral Health for OCHS and the development of new recovery servicesand programs. Maintain Bureau of Substance addition Services (BSAS)license, lead bi-annual license renewal application and inspections, andensure compliance with requirements and regulations. Report regularly tosenior leadership on activities of the Recovery Services staff,including performance, to ensure conformance with the mission, visionand goals of the organization Report to clinical staff on organizationaldevelopments, goals, vision Ensure the proper functioning of theclinical sites, striving for the highest degree of clinical care andpatient satisfaction Monitor clinician compliance with electronic healthrecord completion policies and documentation management guidelines.

Monitor quality metrics and review clinical reports with staff. Assistin risk management programs; review all potential liability claimsgenerated against health centers relating to recovery services Provideand/or arrange for clinical supervision for new and pre-licensedtherapists, interns and recovery staff, work on skills and provideoversight on a regular ongoing basis. Review clinical documentation andsign off on documentation for pre-licensed clinicians. Coordinate andsupervise the activities of clinical team members engaged in clinicalcare for patients Ensure high quality clinical care for patients byreviewing and researching concerns or complaints and recommendingcorrective action as appropriate. Ensure that recovery services providedcomply with clinical regulations published by BSAS (Bureau of SubstanceAbuse Services) and Review specific cases, problems, and treatmentinterventions with staff members on an individual and group basis.
