Job Description
Clinical Director Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement goalsand objectives for the CBHC program to meet performance specificationsImplement and review policies and procedure on a regular basis Ensureoversight of CBHC performance specifications related to management ofclinical staff hiring, and scheduling Monitoring of adequacy andappropriateness of patient (member) care Development of in-servicetraining for staff in collaboration with training coordinatorsEstablishment of quality management program in collaboration withDirector of CQI and quality team Ensure that clinical activities arecarried out in accordance with HPTC?s written plans for qualityassurance, utilization review/management and staff growth anddevelopment Provide supervision to program staff and maintainsupervisory notes Provide direct services to patients, which willinclude but not limited to evaluations of patients, individual, groupand/or family counseling, crisis management, and aftercare planningMonitoring of CBHC budget, payment models and productivity of clinicalstaff Participate on assigned committees and prepare reports as neededCoordinate with other departments/facilities to enhance and ensurequality care Participate in budget development and monthly reviewprocess Routinely review patient charts (open and closed) to ensure thatthe structure and substance are in accordance with licensing andaccreditations standards Advertising, interviewing, hiring and trainingof all new clinical and support staff Participate in RFR processes tomaintain current programing and development new programming Preparationof reports and correspondence in response to licensing and accreditationboards Collaborate and participate in meetings with other communityorganizations to enhance communication and service delivery within thecommunity Provide on- going clinical and daily administration of theOutpatient Program to ensure quality care Insures confidentialityaccording to 42 CFR part 2 and HIPAA regulations Other duties asassigned by the CBHC Site Director and/or COO Clinical DirectorRequirements Must present as courteous and professional at all timesDemonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks Must haveexcellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideasin logical and clear fashion Must have the ability to work with othersin cooperative and collaborative manner TB screening Certification inthe HPAO approved de-escalation program Strong and effective verbal,written and organizational skills Knowledge of basic computer skills andsoftware programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO`selectronic medical records Ability to provide leadership and programdevelopment within an outpatient site Knowledge of major clinicaltherapeutic models and behavioral health best practice Strongorganizational, verbal and written communication skills ClinicalDirector Qualifications Independently licensed Behavioral HealthClinician, including:
LICSW/LMHC/LMFT
Master/Doctoral degree in HumanServices related field such as psychology or social work Minimum ofthree (3) years of clinical supervisory experience and five (5) years ofbehavioral health counseling experience.
