About the Opportunity The School of Nursing within the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University is seeking a clinical placement coordinator! This position will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the clinical operations of the School of Nursing with the placement of nursing students for clinical and practicum educational experiences in both the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Key responsibilities include clinical placement database administration and management, creation and maintenance of a comprehensive clinical course communications infrastructure, and coordination of preceptor development functions. This position will serve as the main contact within and outside the School for the nursing clinical placement office and will require operation at several different levels in order to establish and maintain smooth program and departmental operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with experience in healthcare-related field preferred or equivalent education and experience that includes 2-3 years prior administrative experience in nursing education or health care agency. Must demonstrate advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Up to 2 years of experience and exposure to multiple applications including, but not limited to, databases and other computer systems strongly desired. Should possess excellent communications skills, including verbal and written with editing experience. Must demonstrate well-developed skills related to organizing, prioritizing, and delegating as appropriate. Must possess exemplary customer service orientation with both internal and external customers. Due to the varying levels at which this role must operate, self-direction, flexibility, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage several initiatives and tasks simultaneously are critical for success. The primary work location for this position is the Fall River, MA campus. This position currently operates under a hybrid model, requiring a combination of on-campus presence along with a remote work option. The remote work location must be reviewed and approved. The specific work schedule will be dependent upon the operational needs of the school, and the hybrid model is subject to change based on business needs and college and university policies and guidance. The interview process will begin immediately and may be conducted remotely or in person. $47,890.00 – $65,848.75 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
