Provide advocacy, support, and referral information and assist clients to become self-sufficient. 37.5 hour work week but paid for 40 hours. This is a fully ONSITE (not remote) position
Responsibilities Include:
Acting as a liaison between programming both within the CTI network and external providers including : Mental Health Providers, Substance Abuse Providers, State Agencies & other community agencies.
Supporting all of Youth Services program participants. Support Program staff in the training around evaluation and working towards positive mental health.
Working with vulnerable populations and at risk youth.
Develop and maintain relationships with school districts, families, social services agencies and collaterals to ensure proper communication and planning regarding youth and family needs.
Working with case managers to develop short term plans to obtain stable housing, connect to resources and develop other treatment related needs.
Development and implement participant workshops geared towards positive mental health, self care and mindfulness activities.
Successful candidate will possess:
Master’s Degree in Social Work/Mental Health or in a related field is
REQUIRED.
2 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents or families.
Knowledge of family systems and dynamics in providing services.
Understanding case management functions and how it relates to families.
Excellent problem solver.
Ability to combine respectful and assertive approaches in helping families seek supportive services.
Excellent Customer Service, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of community resources available to low-income individuals and families.
Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) preferred.
