There will be a need for one Independently Licensed Clinical Supervisor in Quincy, MA in August 2025. This position will carry a small caseload of 8-10 clients and will oversee 2-3 clinicians. Will consider out of state relocatable candidates who can get licensure in MA. (no relocation assistance provided).

Under the guidance of the Program Director, the Clinical Supervisor will set a positive tone and morale for the team and support the organization’s mission and professional culture. This person will provide clinical supervision for Masters and/or Bachelors per regulation and licensing requirements.

Main Job Duties:

Ensure all clinical documentation meets the organization’s standard of care and ensure quality of care and compliance are adhered to. Promote evidence-based practices Will have shared input in the design and development of clinical training to help foster growth and professional development of clinical staff. Stay current regarding all relevant professional literature. Provides individual and group supervision, as determined by the program director and licensure requirements of individual supervisee. Ensures availability by telephone or in person as needed for additional support (crisis) for clinical staff and team members during business hours. Will be included in On-Call Rotation for extended day time hours, Saturdays, and Sundays. Assures that Clinicians are delivering clinically appropriate treatment services to families and individuals via supervisory discussion and clinical record review. Assures that Clinicians are learning new and appropriate clinical intervention techniques through supervision and training. Reviews initial case documentation, including initial assessment, treatment plan and on-going notes to assure that all services were properly documented/up to required regulatory and professional standards. Meets with Program Director weekly to review progress of staff and address any areas of clinical treatment and/or job performance needing attention, as well as other programmatic/staff issues, and challenges supervisor faces. Always contributes positively to the morale of the team by modeling, speaking positively, creating an inclusive atmosphere between staff and administration. Attends all agency training regarding enhancement of supervisory and management skills. Supervisors will carry a small caseload. Performs other duties/projects as assigned (may not be outlined here).

Education:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioral/Mental Health Counseling required. Independent License (in MA) in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioral/Mental Health Counseling required. LICSW preferred or if licensed for 3 plus years, LMHC and LMFT will qualify.

Experience:

Minimum of 2yrs previous supervisory/teaching experience within mental/behavioral healthcare. Minimum 2yrs post graduate experience within mental/behavioral health is required but 5 years’ experience is strongly preferred. Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record preferred. Proficiency in computer technology required.
