We’re looking for a skilled and personable team member to support both optical and front desk functions as we continue to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a boutique, high-quality practice in its early stages – and to play a meaningful role in shaping our patient experience and office culture. We’re ideally seeking an experienced optician , but we’re also open to the right candidate with strong front desk experience and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Optical Support:
Assist patients and families with frame selection Adjust and repair eyeglasses Manage orders for lenses and frames Educate families on lens options and vision benefits Keep the optical area organized and welcoming Operate in-house lens finishing equipment as needed
Front Desk & Patient Services:
Answer phones and schedule appointments with warmth and professionalism Verify insurance coverage and interpret benefits for VSP and Eyemed plans Greet patients and ensure a smooth, friendly visit Assist with other tasks that support daily operations and patient care
Who You Are:
Warm, friendly, and confident working with children and families A clear, polished communicator Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented A positive team player who’s adaptable and proactive Experience in opticianry or medical office administration strongly preferred Excited to contribute to a growing practice and learn new skills along the way
