Quincy, Norwell, Norwood, and Weymouth, MA Pay Range:

About the Role We are seeking Patient Care Coordinators to join our administrative team. This role is vital to ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting our clinical and office staff. Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive experience from check-in forward. Accurately collect and update patient demographic and financial information in our electronic health records (EHR). Verify and record patient financial responsibilities, including co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant electronic medical records. Relay medical and insurance updates to the appropriate departments. Ensure charts are complete and all financial matters are resolved before the patient leaves. Answer phone calls professionally and assist with scheduling and patient inquiries, notating all account interactions. Attend staff and department meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned by department managers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical administrative role is preferred but not required Customer-facing or patient-facing experience required Must be able to work at all Nielsen Eye Center locations with reliable transportation Proficient typing skills and ability to multitask efficiently Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to shifting priorities Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally and tactfully Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Schedule:
This position requires local travel to all four of our offices. Hours may vary slightly, but standard shifts are as follows:
Monday & Friday :
7:00 AM•3:30
PM Tuesday :
10:00 AM•6:30
PM Wednesday & Thursday :
