PATIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR- HOME HEALTH
Position Summary For over 35 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. The Home Health Medical Secretary provides clerical support for North Hill Home Health Care, ensuring excellent customer service and diplomacy. Responsibilities include maintaining patient medical records and supporting computer and software systems.
Hours:
Part-Time 16-24 Job Specific Duties Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Processes and tracks documents requiring physician signatures, including orders, 485 plans of care, and face-to-face documentation, ensuring accuracy. Manages mailing and faxing of physician orders, including preparation, tracking, and receipt of clinical documents. Sends and tracks Attestation Letters to physicians as required. Updates patient information in Wellsky and maintains hard copy files for certified home health patients. Assists with entering new patient referrals. Uploads required documentation into the electronic medical record to meet federal and state standards. Manages the home health department’s eFax system by reviewing new faxes and uploading them to the correct patient record. Follows all Emergency Management Plans, including the Emergency Dining Plan and Life Safety policies, and participates in fire and evacuation drills. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.
