This position provides an array of services usingevidence-based practices that support client treatment, andfacilitate safe, secure, and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities include developing therapeutic alliance, clinicalskills application, conducting diagnostic and comprehensiveassessments, individualized treatment planning and dailyinterventions.
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the supervisee re: diagnosing, treatmentplanning, conducting therapy, care coordination, clienttermination, and all other aspects of the Mental HealthPractitioner position
- Maintain caseload of 13
- 16 clients andbetween 6
- 8 supervisees
- Consistently review and provide timelyfeedback (e.g., within three business days) on all superviseedocumentation, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans,progress notes, and discharge summaries. Provide constructivefeedback and guidance to supervisees regarding documentation skills
- Attend required meetings for supervisors (Supervision ofSupervision, case consult, weekly supervision sessions withsupervisees). Facilitate weekly staff case consult in a leadershiprole, as needed
- Maintain a record of all supervision sessions andsubmit to admin staff monthly
- Effectively manage schedule toallow for availability to support supervisee learning anddevelopment
- Represent CARE positively and model professionalbehavior as a representative of CARE with internal and externalprofessionals
- Develop a Supervision Plan and Learning Contractwith each supervisee
- Support supervisee clinical and professionalgrowth through strengths
- based, reflective supervision and caseconsultation
- May be required to lead, plan, and/or participate inClinical Trainee Training Day and associated events
- Arrange forsupervisor coverage in the event of a planned or unexpectedabsence.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree inBehavioral Science/related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriageand Family Therapy, Social Work, Education, etc.)
- An active,Licensed Independent Clinician in the state of MN (LMFT)
- LMFTLicensed Clinical Supervisor
- Board approval to supervise MentalHealth Practitioners and Clinical Trainees
- 2 years of experiencein a Licensed Mental Health Professional role
- Basic understandingof Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability toadhere to one of the following work models:
- Onsite (must completeall work at one consistent site)
- Hybrid
- at least 3 days on site(must have a distraction-free space in home for home office withaccess to high-speed internet)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 yearsof experience as a LMFT Clinical Supervisor
- Experience inoutpatient mental health
- Experience in clinical documentation
- Experience with Athena
- Diagnostic assessment experience
- Experienced in treatment planning and maintaining a caseload
- Experience entering pertinent information in Electronic HealthRecord (EHR) Systems
- Experience reading and interpretinginformation, such as reports, general correspondence, professionalpublications, and government regulations, with the ability to sharewith others as needed
- Experience reading, interpreting andapplying/modeling general information from policy and proceduremanuals and other compliance related information
- Experiencepresenting information and responding to questions from internaland external stakeholders which can or may include communityproviders, medical professionals, management, peers, family membersand client
- Knowledge of the effects of mental illness and seeksinformation from a wide variety of disciplines applicable to thetreatment of persons with mental illness The salary range for thisrole is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to locallabor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
