• 105,000/year Correctional Psychiatric Services (CPS) is a leader in providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care within correctional environments.

As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a talented Lead Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Nashua Street Jail in Boston. In this pivotal role, you will provide diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, and serve as a senior responder in crisis situations. You will also support the clinical supervision of mental health clinicians and interns, mentor staff, and contribute to their ongoing professional growth—helping to ensure the delivery of exceptional, compliant care in a multidisciplinary setting. This person must hold a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field and possess an independent Massachusetts license (LICSW or LMHC). Experience in a correctional setting is required , as is demonstrated supervisory experience. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential for working effectively with clinical teams, medical personnel, and facility administration. This full-time position follows a core schedule of: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with one to two evening shifts per week (1:00 PM-9:00 PM) and up to two Saturday shifts per month (8:00 AM-4:00 PM). When a Saturday is worked, a weekday off is provided. CPS offers a highly competitive salary range of $90,000
