Senior Director, Major Accounts (Life Sciences & Healthcare) Join to apply for the Senior Director, Major Accounts (Life Sciences & Healthcare) role at Clarivate . Job Overview You will lead a team of Account Directors responsible for expanding our largest U.S.-based Customer relationships within LS&H. The team will focus on selling across our portfolio of SaaS products and consulting services aimed at R D, Portfolio Strategy, and Commercialization. The role involves managing renewals, upselling, and cross-selling, leveraging collaboration with Customer Success, Solution Specialists, and Product Management teams to serve global customers. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments Minimum 10 years of experience selling to global pharmaceutical customers At least 7 years of sales leadership experience Proven success in closing multi-million dollar deals, including complex data and business intelligence solutions Experience developing senior Account Managers Key Responsibilities Achieve targets for New Business, Retention & Total Business Deliver accurate forecasts and develop growth strategies Lead, motivate, and recruit talent for your team Engage in customer meetings with decision-makers and influencers Coach your team to develop customer intelligence and influence within a matrix organization Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance the customer journey Identify opportunities with consulting partners and subject matter experts Core Competencies Consistent forecasting and high performance focus Strong business development and large-deal experience High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills Proactive leadership and inspiring motivation Visionary thinking beyond the present Excellent communication skills Effective time management and clarity in complex issues Team and Work Environment The LS&H Major Customer team values customer focus, teamwork, and execution excellence. Work Hours and Location This is a full-time, hybrid role primarily during core business hours, with flexibility for global time zones and 2-3 days in-office or at client sites weekly. Compensation and Benefits (US) Base salary: $200,000 – $260,000 USD/year plus annual commission ($135,000 – $175,000). Eligible for equity, with benefits including health insurance, 401k match, disability coverage, paid time off, and more.
