Job Description

Job Summary:

MaineGeneral is seeking a Therapy Team Lead to support our outpatient therapy team at the Winthrop Health Center. This position is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist who wants to continue hands-on patient care while taking on meaningful leadership responsibilities. In this role, you’ll provide clinical support to the team, help guide operations, and contribute to program and workflow development. You’ll be a go-to resource for your peers while helping shape an exceptional care experience for our patients.

Job Description:

•It is expected that non-clinical responsibilities will average approximately 4 hours per week.•

Lead with

Insight:

Support your team by offering clinical guidance, resolving complex care challenges, and modeling best practices in patient treatment.

Coach & Collaborate:

Provide day-to-day support, mentorship, and feedback to therapists. Help team members grow professionally while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.

Shape Care Delivery:

Assist in developing and refining therapy policies, workflows, and quality initiatives to ensure high standards of care and a great patient experience.

Deliver Exceptional Care:

Continue treating patients with evidence-based approaches and maintain accurate, timely documentation (subjective, objective, assessment, and plan).

Qualifications:

Current Maine licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience mentoring others or an interest in developing leadership abilities Passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and patient-centered care Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
