Job Summary:
The Clinical Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing comprehensive assessments, training clinical staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care. This position involves reviewing and co-signing off on assessments and providing guidance to clinical staff through various training programs. The Clinical Director actively engages with both staff and clients during traumatic events, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to ensure accurate and thorough evaluations of clients.
- Review and sign treatment plans and co-sign off on assessments conducted by clinical staff, providing expert insights.
- Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff, ensuring ongoing professional development.
- Actively engage with staff and clients during traumatic events, providing support and guidance.
- Foster a collaborative and engaging environment for both staff and clients.
- Provide leadership and direction in maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless and integrated client care.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the organization’s clinical approach.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with other organizational leaders to drive continuous improvement in clinical services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Act as a point of contact for clinical concerns and inquiries Skills/Job Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work).
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive assessments.
- Experience in training and supervising clinical staff, developing programs, and fostering a positive team culture.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with staff and clients during traumatic events.
- In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Basic Knowledge of computer programs such as Office 365 and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems such as InSync, Quailifacts, etc.
Physical Demands Physical Stamina:
The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and being actively engaged with patients and employees during work and employee interactions.
Lifting and Carrying:
There may be occasional requirements to lift or carry lightweight equipment or materials, such as tools or paperwork.
Manual Dexterity:
The position may involve tasks that require the use of hands and fingers, such as typing, writing, and handling materials.
Visual and Auditory Acuity:
The may need to closely observe patients and accurately interpret verbal and non-verbal cues during calls or interviews
Mobility:
The role may involve the ability to move freely within the facility to conduct interviews, attend meetings, and other office duties.
Sensory Abilities:
This position may require the ability to perceive and respond to environmental and situational factors that are relevant to patient interactions.
